This unique brooch was crafted from 18ct yellow and white gold, embellished in 0.82ct
and carved from
to pay homage to Henry V. From a drawing in one of Theo’s ever present sketch books, to its metamorphosis through the studio and workshop, the brooch has been entirely handmade with a bespoke box with embroidered crest. It required the extraordinary and diverse skills of eight different craftsmen, and their lifetime of dedication, to bring it to a finished and unique piece of fine jewellery. This piece genuinely is, as real jewellery should be, a wonder for centuries to come.
This piece is part of a collection of unique brooches entitled Sic Transit Gloria Mundi – which translates loosely as ‘How fleeting are earthly glories’ – they are indeed. However grand you are in life we all look pretty much the same in the end; but, even after life, some are more recognizable than others. Price and availability on application.
